Teacher, Technical Director, Guest Director-
Teaches Intermediate Stagecraft (CCA). Thomas Pike is an alumni of San Juan Hills High School. Thomas works as a Tech Theatre walk on coach for Stagecraft and Theatrical Production classes, as well as helping Tech Direct the productions. He started his directing career in high school including his personal favorite, Elephants Graveyard, and continued to assistant direct his first few semesters of college. Thomas debuted his first full length production, the Dining Room in 2017 at SJHHS, and directed a sold our run of Lord of the Flies last year. He will be starting Cal State Fullerton in the fall. At Fullerton Thomas will be receiving his BA in Theater Arts with a concentration in Education and eventually his teaching credential. he hopes to have his own drama department to rule over one day.
Choreographer and Guest Director-
Casey Garritano – Director/Choreographer - has been teaching/directing/choreographing at OCSA since 2004. He has taught and/or currently teaches Stage Combat, Jazz Dance, Acting, Tap, Ballet, Stage Movement, MT Voice, Voice and Speech for the actor and Musical Theater Dance. Casey’s choreographing and directing credits include, At OCSA: Crazy For You (‘16), Anything Goes (‘13), Oklahoma! (’12), The Boyfriend (‘06), at SMCHHS, West Side Story (’18) (Macy Award, Best Choreography) Fiddler on the Roof (’17), Guys and Dolls (’16) Hello Dolly!('15) (Macy Award, Best Choreography) at SJHHS, Les Miserables (’18) at WHS, Bye Bye Birdie (12) High School Musical (13). Professional Choreography credits include: Cabaret (COPA-OC) The Producers (Tibbes Center Stage Dinner Theater), Swing Into Spring(Encore Dinner Theater), Tintypes (DCLO), Oklahoma (DCLO). Performance Credits include: Cosmo in Singin’ In The Rain (Performance Riverside, Candlelight Pavilion). Will Parker in Oklahoma! (Welk Resort Theater, Performance Riverside, DCLO), Tommy Djilas in The Music Man (Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, NY), Gus in Babes in Arms (Saddleback Civic Light Opera), Annie Get Your Gun (FCLO, Civic Light Opera South Bay Cities), On Your Toes(Reprise! Broadways Best), and a Dancer for The Los Angeles Opera’s production of Idomeneo. Casey was born and raised in Redondo Beach, CA and studied Musical Theater at UCLA.
